EAS-20 EPOXY ADHESIVE SYSTEM

DESCRIPTION: EAS-20 is a two (2) part general purpose epoxy adhesive system. It has excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates including wood, concrete, steel and many rubber and plastic compounds.
MIX RATIO: One (1) part Part A epoxy to One (1) part Part B Curing Agent.
CONSISTENCY and COLOR: Soft, buttery, amber paste.
WORK OR POT LIFE: (200 gram batch) Approximately 80 minutes.
CURE CHARACTERISTICS: (Based on 40 mil film)
Firm Set time @ 70 F 8-12 hours
Hard Set Time @ 70 F 24 hours
Full Cure @ 70 F 7 Days
BOND STRENGTH: Typical bond strengths exceed the strength of the substrate (1000 psi. ) for wood, concrete and some plastics ( with proper surface preparation and under optimum cure conditions).
Typical compressive strength can exceed 12,000 psi ( ASTM D695).
Typical flexural strength can exceed 7,000 psi (ASTM D790). Optimum mixing and cure conditions are required for these values (elevated temperatures give much higher yield strengths).
RECOMMENDED APPLICATION TEMPERATURE RANGE: 70 F to 90 F.
RECOMMENDED BOND TEMPERATURE RANGE (after cure, bonds will tolerate): - 20 F TO 140 F.
TOXICITY RATING: Very low compared to most epoxy systems.

SHELF LIFE: Guaranteed 1 year when stored in sealed containers at temperatures between 50 - 90 F. Part A is subject to crystallization when stored at cool temperatures.
CLEAN-UP: Tools with Methyl Ethyl Ketone or Acetone , before pot life has expired.
