EAS-35  EPOXY INFUSION SYSTEM

 GENERAL:    EAS-35 is an epoxy system consisting of ELV-0025 epoxy resin and ECA-408 hardener, mixed at a ratio of 4:1 by weight. 

ELV-0025 is a very low viscosity epoxy resin, designed for the infusion resin process. It is  characterized by high performance properties and  chemical resistance.  When used with amine hardeners, such as ECA-408, compositions based on ELV-0025 demonstrate excellent physical properties, adhesion to glass or carbon fiber, appearance and surface properties.

ADVANTAGES: 

ELV-0025 is especially good for applications where low viscosity is necessary for good impregnation or maximum filler loading and yet good physical properties are still required.

FORMULATING/MIXING:

Formulations based on ELV-0025 can be easily mixed at room temperature.  The low viscosity of the resin permits easy incorporation of hardener, modifiers and fillers. 

ELV-0025 can be easily blended with EMV-0040 or EHV-0050 at different ratios to achieve a higher viscosity.

 CURING SCHEDULES

 The following schedules are suggested as a guide for curing at  room temperature and at elevated temperatures . The Specific schedule depends upon the actual formulation, hardener choice, ambient temperature and total mass.

 PACKAGING AND STORAGE:

 ELV-0025 is supplied in  9# (1 Gallon) Cans, 45# (5 gallon) pails and 500# (55 gallon)steel drums.
