ECA-032 EPOXY CURING AGENT ECA-032 Epoxy Curing Agent, is a room temperature curing agent for liquid epoxy resins. It is designed to minimize skin irritation potential . Used for : In-plant, wet lay-up laminating and tooling. Also used for skateboard, water-ski, wakeboard and snow board manufacture, boat and auto patch kits. ECA-032 can be used as an aggregate bonding mortar. For compression molding, it is frequently used at elevated temperatures, i.e. 165 to 185 deg.F. (it's T-sub-g is 126 deg.F.). PHYSICAL STATE: a clear, light liquid of Low Viscosity STORAGE LIFE: over 1 Year in Sealed Containers at Ambient Temperature. TYPICAL PROPERTIES: Viscosity @ 77 F 600-700 centipoise Color (Gardner): 1 Equivalent Wt. Per H: 48 Density (Wt./gal) @ 77F: 8.4# Flash Point (Closed Cup): 347 F RECOMMENDED USAGE: 25 Parts per 100 Parts Liquid Epoxy Resin Having Epoxy Equivalent of 190, i.e. ELV-2003 TYPICAL HANDLING PROPERTIES: Gel Time (pot life) (105g @ 77 F) : 25 minutes Thin Film Set Time (77 F) : 4-6 Hr Thin film set time at 170 deg.
