ECA-315HARDENER FOR EPOXIES ECA-315 is an accelerated aliphatic amine, generally used at elevated temperatures, (160 - 190 F.) for heated, compression molded, laminated products. Rapid cures are obtained at these temperatures and the low viscosity of ECA-315 is very beneficial for wetting out glass cloth in wet lay-ups. ECA-315 has been used in the manufacture of wakeboards , skateboards and snowboards, to give high tensile and flexural strengths with excellent chip resistance. PHYSICAL STATE: Low Viscosity Clear Liquid PROPERTIES: Viscosty @ 77F 200 to 260 centipoise Density @ 77F 8.54lbs/gallon Color (APHA) less than 200 MIX RATIO: 20 parts per 100 parts of liquid epoxy, having epoxy equivalent to 180 to 190 i.e. EHV-0050. HANDLING PROPERTIES: Pot Life (150g @ 77F) 14 +/- 1 minute Set Time 165F 12 - 14 minutes APPLICATIONS: Laminated, gel coats, water skis, wakeboards, snowboards.
