EHV-0047HIGH TEMP. EPOXY RESIN

EHV-0047 is a high strength, high temperature resistant epoxy resin that has good chemical resistant properties.

This epoxy resin was designed for wet lay-up laminating of epoxy composites and wood. It has excellent adhesion to many plastics, including P-tex, pbt and many other substrates.

It has been used in the manufacture of composite water-skis and snowboards.

APPLICATIONS:

bulletHigh Temp Encapsulating and Molding
bulletComposites
bulletChemical Resistant Coatings
bulletPrimary Flooring resin for High Chemical Resistance
bulletLaminating Resin

bulletFor an Epoxy wIth a functionality of 2.65, this product has an unusually low viscosity. EHV-0047 also has low hydrolyzable chlorides with good reactivity. It is non-crystallizing and can be used with all standard curatives, especially ECA-408 high temp. hardener. This product will cure at room temp. or elevated temperatures (for higher heat distortion properties).
