ELV-2003  EPOXY LAMINATING RESIN

General:            ELV-2003 is a low cost, low viscosity modified liquid epoxy resin based on Bisphenol A. ELV-2003 is characterized by minimal handling hazards and very slight odor.  When used with amine       hardeners, such as ECA-032 or ECA-342, compositions based on ELV-2003 demonstrate excellent physical properties, adhesion, appearance and surface properties.

Applications:             * Casting

* Electrical

* Laminating

* Tooling

* Flooring

* Coating

* Impregnation

Advantages:                  ELV-2003 Is Especially Good for Applications Where Low Viscosity Is Necessary for Good Impregnation or Maximum Filler Loading or Where Reduced Odor and Diminished Toxicity Is   Required.

 Typical Properties:

                                    Epoxy Value, Eq/100g                0.464-0.494

                                    Weight per Epoxide (Wpe)          202-216

Formulating/mixing:        Formulations Based on ELV-2003 Can Be Easily Mixed at Room Temperature.  The Low Viscosity of the Resin Permits Easy Incorporation of Hardeners, Modifiers and Fillers.

 ELV-2003 Can Be Easily Blended with EMV-0040 or EHV-0050 at Different Ratios to Achieve a Higher Viscosity.
